Halloween could be the only holiday on the calendar and I'd be OK with that. I'm a Creative jester with a knack for storytelling. Published author, voiceover talent, artist, public historian, cookbook collector, daughter, mom, sister, aunt, and reunited adoptee who wears her heart on her apron and never seems to be able to handle a compliment gracefully. After searching for 20 years, I reconnected with my First Family (aka birth family) and began tracing my true roots. Through writing and art, I share my path to help others on their journey of self-discovery. For several years, I have brought historical figures to life, guiding guests through a local presidential home. Telling true stories from the past, bringing history forward, and using storytelling to connect with diverse audiences is exciting work. At home, you can find me wandering through old or quirky cookbooks, playing with mixed media, jotting thoughts, or, lately, feeling deeply guilty about my elderly father whom I upset by "putting" them into assisted living earlier this year (2024). Daughterhood can be hard. Leaning into creativity is good therapy.
