Hi Sketchbook Revival friends. Happy New Year!
Daily creativity is powerful and can transform your life, and Creativebug is a wonderful place to find daily inspiration to start (and keep) an art practice! Here are some of the top reasons why I work hard to stay committed to my practice and love to encourage others to do the same.
Daily creativity is powerful and can transform your life, and Creativebug is a wonderful place to find daily inspiration to start (and keep) an art practice! Here are some of the top reasons why I work hard to stay committed to my practice and love to encourage others to do the same.
1) Art supplies + creative play = fun and who doesn’t want to have more fun in their every day?
2) Creativity is a lot like meditation; when you make the time to engage with that part of yourself, you’ll start to notice how it improves your sense of well being, lifts your mood, and makes the rest of the day better.
3) There is nothing like daily creativity to help your creative confidence bloom. You, too, are an artist and the more you create the more you’ll feel comfortable saying it out loud and believe it’s true.
4) A Daily Challenge invigorates your practice. Little by little, see how your skills, interests, and style evolve, with tangible visual evidence to remind you why staying commited to art-making is a worthy cause.
5) A daily creative practice keeps you curious. What surprises will come from creative decisions made along the way? How will a piece come together in the end? The magic of discovery (not the art itself) is guaranteed to inspire you to keep going on your journey.
