Play with shape and color as you learn how to make one of Lisa’s iconic star paintings. In this class, Lisa will show you how to draft an eight-pointed star to use as your template, and then tape off sections and paint clean, crisp shapes. You will also learn how to mix acrylic colors to create different shades for a striking final piece.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Materials:
  • 8” x 8” square clay board
  • Straight edge metal ruler
  • Sharp pencil and soft eraser
  • Acrylic paint in a variety of colors
  • White acrylic paint
  • Artist tape
  • 1 to 2 flat edge paintbrushes
  • Rag or paper towels
  • Palette and water container
