Cardona often utilizes houses as a motif and after a recent move, she was inspired to bring one of her 2D designs to life in 3D form. Using just paper, a tiny light, and a special place to set a cut flower or leaf, she created a charming dream house. In this class, you’ll receive a template to create a mini village of paper houses that you can use to illuminate any occasion.

Here’s what you’ll need:
- Downloaded PDF with the house template printed on cardstock and the shapes template printed on printer paper
- Additional cardstock in a few colors
- Cutting mat
- Paper cutter with straight and scoring blade
- Craft knife
- Scissors
- PVA glue
- Craft needle / awl
- Battery-operated tea light
- Small plant cuttings (optional)

Great project! I may try to make one. A 1/2-1 inch or so of cardboard or popsicle sticks could be glued on the bottom for decoration and to strengthen the base of the structure and clear plastic from envelopes could be on one or both sides as windows for light to emit. You could color it with a marker for tinted windows. Other items such as a feather or a dried flower could be glued on top.
