- Fabric of choice (at least 50% natural fiber)
- Piece of cardboard larger than your project
- Japanese washi paper (thin paper with long fibers)
- Piece of plexi glass larger than your project
- Wheat paste

This was great! I have some questions regarding the grain: does washi/mulberry paper have a grain that one needs to take into account, or are the fibers pointed in various directions due to being handmade? When using the finished bookcloth, should the grain of the bookboard be aligned with the warp or the weft of the fabric? Does it matter?
