Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Simplicity Pattern #8151 
  • 1 ¾ yards denim (or other utility fabric)
  • 6" fusible interfacing
  • Thread
  • Pins
  • Fabric shears
  • Sewing machine with buttonhole foot
  • Denim sewing needle
  • Iron and ironing surface
  • Fabric marking pencil
  • Seam ripper
  • Bias tape (optional, if substituting for straps)
