It's delightful to discover a love note from the past and find it full of wishes for the future. In this sweet project by Dawn M. Cardona, she shares her design for a little paper envelope in the shape of a house that can be gifted on a special occasion, such as a baby shower, wedding, or New Year's, to open at a later date. The paper houses can be personalized with small details in a way that means something to you or your recipient. Frame these envelopes filled with a not-so-secret hidden message to yourself to read in the future, or to give to a friend as a time capsule message.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Cardstock
- Vintage papers or any paper with sentimental value
- Decorative papers made in Dawn's Make Painted Papers for Art Making class (optional)
- Bristol Paper 8” x 10”, for canvas
