Take a look at your closet with fresh eyes. Pieces that you don't wear might just need a fun makeover. Brittany J Jones - co-owner of Melanated Fabrics, sewing instructor, and brand ambassador for Husqvarna Viking - will give you the skills and confidence to alter a dress in two different ways. Starting with the Katie Dress by Mimi G Style, Brittany will teach you how to cut and hem a dress into a cute top with a new pocket. You'll also learn how to change the silhouette of a flowy dress by creating a drawstring waist. Whether you're working with a dress you've had for a long time or re-imagining a dress pattern that you've just purchased, you'll discover how easy it is to make quick changes for a big impact.
