Cricut Crafts: Stenciled Raindrop Wall Art

To make this beautiful raindrop wall art, you don’t need to be an “Artist” with a capital A. In this class, Courtney Cerruti shares an easy technique for cutting out artwork on vinyl using the Cricut Explore, and then painting over the vinyl stencil several times to create an overall design. Apply neutral, neon, and gold paint with brushes and spray-paint to achieve a layered multi-dimensional effect.

  • 12” x 12” LightGrip Cricut mat
  • Cricut tools
  • Computer
  • 12” x 12” wood panel
  • Metallic silver spray-paint
  • Metallic gold spray-paint
  • Acrylic craft paint in blue/neon coral/aqua/silver
  • Scissors
  • Contact paper
  • Vinyl or rubber gloves
