Join Courtney Cerruti and Twinkie Chan in making eco-friendly Easter crafts to fill a basket, decorate a table or hide around the house.
Twinkie will share a pattern for a re-useable crocheted easter egg you can fill year after year, and Courtney will share her sewn version using fabric or paper.

Ditch the plastic and make heirloom easter eggs that are sustainable and adorable.

Here’s what you’ll need:

General supplies:

Scissors

Small gifts for filling eggs: lollipops, hair barrettes, art supplies, bracelets, mini chocolate eggs, jellybeans, novelty socks, stickers, tiny toys, etc.

Paper Easter grass

Optional- Herb or fringe scissor

For the crochet eggs you will need:

Worsted weight yarn - any colors, any fibers

H/8 5.0mm crochet hook

Yarn/Tapestry needle

Optional: Straight pins

For fabric eggs you will need:

3 pieces of fabric measuring 5.5" x 8" each (egg backing and egg pocket)

Sewing machine and thread
