Great info but I've never in my life met a sewing pattern(including simplicity) that once I took my measurements and found the size according to the pattern itself that I didn't have to go two or 3 sizes down from that. I wish they would just make the patterns with less ease at this point. I often look at the finished garment measurements and pick based of those. But this is good info on how I can further adjust the patten.
It was an informative tutorial. The presentation was easy to understand. Since the french curve was included in the required material, its use should have been demonstrated. The instructor did say she preferred an alternate tool. The tutorial should have shown the use of both. Overall, I learned a lot and acquired the skills I was expecting.
