Double Knit Scarf

Skill level: Advanced beginner
Yarn: 2 skeins lightweight worsted weight yarn in contrasting colors if making scarf; Edie uses Skacel HiKoo Sueño (80% superwash merino wool/20% viscose, 3.5 oz/100 g, 255 yd/233 m), 1 skein each of 2 colors; colors should be contrasting in order to see the pattern. Colors shown are: A: Caramel B: Robin's Egg
Needles: U.S. size 8 (5 mm) knitting needles, US size 6 (4 mm) knitting needles for cast-on only
Gauge: 15 sts and 21 rows = 4" (10 cm) in double-knit pattern, using larger needles
Finished measurements: 6" (15 cm) wide x 44" (112 cm) long
