Wholecloth Quilt
Intermediate | 40 min 15 sec

Anna Maria shows the entire process of creating a baby quilt, from laying out and basting, then highlighting the design of a printed fabric with even stitching, and finally binding the quilt with single fold bias binding. Silly, it never occurred to me to use a print as a guide for hand quilting. I see some practice pieces out of fat quarters in my future.

Wry informative. As someone who has shied away from hand quilting, I now am more interested in doing so. Even as a seasoned quilt maker and sewing, I learned some techniques that I have never tried. Thanks!
