This is exactly the type of lesson I was looking for. I am really inspired by the considered use of every type of pen, and the emphasis on ease and fluidity of the experience. Watching this particular sketch come together was both academically interesting and artistically pleasing. Thank you, artist and creators!!!

It was interesting seeing how he broke down the symbols we think of when we think of people, trees, and structures and how we can take them closer and closer to a more realistic suggestion of what they are. I taught my 6 year old these same things.

I liked the style and his tone. I wish that while in the final video there was a way to split screen and show the actual subject we were working on as well as how he was doing it. I'm surprisingly happy with my final product but I felt more like I was drawing what he was drawing rather than us both drawing the same subject you know?
