Labour intensive! But so pretty. She didn't explain how all those knots get covered up on the inside. I can imagine they would be kind of ugly to look at and maybe even a bit scratchy - two knots per applique piece. That part didn't get explained, in my opinion.

This is a very cool technique. I can see it would take a very long time to create such a beautiful dress. I will create something more to my size, like a tote or simple tee shirt stencil. Thank you for such an enlightening class.
