This sturdy and adorable bunny-themed Easter basket is a must-have accessory for any Easter Egg hunt. Made with natural-colored canvas and pink felt, this basket features a stitched bunny face and big floppy ears. Once you’ve attached the pompom tail, your basket is ready to fill with treats and treasures.
Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 yard of natural canvas
  • Fat quarter of fun print fabric
  • Sheet of pink felt
  • Thin cotton quilt batting
  • Heavy-weight fusible interfacing
  • Friction pen (or erasable fabric marker of your choice)
  • Fabric paint pen in pink (Annabel uses DecoFabric marker in #9 Pink)
  • All-purpose thread in black; white; and neon
  • Black embroidery thread
  • Embroidery needle
  • Hand-sewing needle
  • Pins and pincushion
  • Paper scissors
  • Fabric shears
  • Pinking shears
  • Pink yarn (for pompom)
  • Sewing machine
  • Iron and ironing surface
  • Scrap of fabric to use as pressing cloth
  • Ruler
