Pattern reading is not easy for a beginner. The teacher continuously saying it is easy is insulting.
Making paper copies of the pattern is helpful so you can make notes and highlight parts without ruining a book. The teacher took too much for granted.

I guess I'm a little less intimidated at the thought of reading knitting patterns now. But I will have to watch a couple more times to gain some confidence.

Debbie's classes are easy to follow and have made knitting far less intimidating than they were at the very beginning. I still haven't made anything wearable and can only make stockinette fabric, but I'm getting there.
