Enjoyed the class very much; and for the first time, I've experienced a very clear explanation of the Kitchener stitch!!!
By the way, I think her nails were beautiful and matched the color of the yarn. LOL!!!

Now that's a great way to try lace! Love this class.

Overall I liked the class, because the instruction was useful. However, a couple of things took away from the overall success of the class that would prevent me from wanting to invest in this class (if it hadn’t been a free trial) or recommending it for a friend to purchase. First, I found the kid noise in the first couple of segments distracting; even more, though, I found the teacher’s garish manicure to be incredibly distracting. To be clear, this isn’t because I don’t like brightly colored polish, but because bright blue (badly polished) nails take the focus off the stitching, which is what I need to be seeing to learn a new technique. I’m all for personal expression, but there is a time and a place, and this isn’t it. Also, the chart is nice, but because skeins/hanks come in such a variety of sizes, to just say “2 skeins” of worsted couldn’t leave you with far to much (or far too little) yarn. A more effective approach is to provide the estimated yardage or grams for me to be able to buy an accurate amount. Overall, an ok class for a freebie, but not nearly as well executed as other paid classes.

I am an experienced knitter, but don't do much blocking or lace. I was really helped by her suggestions about reading a lace pattern and her blocking is easier than others I have seen with good results. Thank you.
