Enthusiastic standing ovation! I am inspired to make my own pieces in the style of each artist. I have four made at this point, and admittedly my first try isn't fabulous, but they will live happily in my art journal. Thank you, Erin McClusky Wheeler, for bringing these women and their work into the light, and thank you also, Creative Bug, for making this series available to curious artists everywhere.(I watched through the Deschutes County Library.) Erin, your presentation style, descriptive language, and lovely presence made watching a joy. Thank you for creating on camera, and sharing your source materials. I loved your painted papers.

This is by far my favorite class that I have had the pleasure of watching on Creativebug!!! I have been thinking about exploring collage for some time now. The highlighting of each of the artists and their varied styles while interpreting their work in an accessible project has inspired me to move forward into action! That is what a gifted teacher does, inspire! I hope that there will be many more offerings from this teacher in the future!
