How to Knit: Essential Skills for Getting Started
In Part 1, you will learn all of the essential skills you need to get started, like casting on, working back and forth in rows in knit stitch, binding off, and understanding gauge. You'll even learn how to add fringe and read a basic knitting pattern.
Part 2:
How to Knit: Advanced Beginner Techniques
Now that you know the basics, you're ready to learn a few more tricks. In this class, Carla shows you how to work the purl stitch and knit back and forth in rows to create Stockinette Stitch fabric. You'll even learn how to pick up dropped stitches if you make a mistake, sew seams together, increase and decrease, and make a cute pompom.
