Melissa Lang Lytle is a Seattle based fiber artist with a passion for rainbows, storytelling, and handwork as a form of healing. After creating wool birthday crowns for her own children back in 2018, friends and family began asking for commissions and she was down the rabbit hole. Melissa created Hex House Crowns after falling in love with the more connected birthday celebrations and traditions found in Waldorf schools and wanting to partner with her customers to create unique and heirloom crowns. Melissa has been teaching middle school handwork and felting at an urban Waldorf school in Seattle.
